Well. I’ve been at Vision Video for just over a month and I’m still loving my job. With November just around the corner, a majority of our clients recently have been political candidates. I’ve worked on several campaign ads for the local candidates and have enjoyed the process. The most notable has been the rules and regulations surrounding the disclaimers. An image of the candidate must appear at least 80% of the height of the screen with text that’s at least 4% the height of the screen. They need to say they approve the ad, but only if they’re running for certain positions, etc etc.
Anyways, the projects that I’ve first been involved with from start to finish have been both for Joel Dykstra (running for Senate) AND have appeared on South Dakota television market and I can’t even vote! Go figure. Below are the commercials that I’ve worked on for Joel. The first two are running on TV now and the second two are just online.
