I’ve come down with the cold, so now I’m a big baby. Woke up this morning to Sarah letting me know that the building fire alarm was going off. Being tired and lazy I asked her to check it out while she was walking the dog and call me if I should leave… Not the smartest thing to do, but it sounded great at the time.
Sure enough, Sarah did call me. She couldn’t see any visible signs of trouble but thought it best that I came outside. So, begrudgingly, I put on my sweats and headed outside. The second my foot touched the first floor, the firemen had shut off the alarm. I went outside anyways (I might as well) to see where the action might be.
Unfortunately, there was none. False alarm. So, back to bed I went. Oh, and we had our first dusting of snow, too.
